- The competition retains a keen degree of competitiveness, where larger clubs are at no more of a material advantage than a single-side club;
- All matches are played at a pace that is conducive to taking place on midweek evenings and as such is as accessible as possible to those that want to play the game;
- Each match is inclusive, ensuring as many players as possible take a material part in the game;
