- RC.1 - In the event of a win, the victorious side will receive 2 points and the defeated side 0 in the group stages.
- RC.2 - In the event of a tie or no result, each side will receive 1 point in the group stages.
- RC.3 - Where the totals for each completed innings are equal, the side that has lost the fewest wickets at the end of their innings will be victorious. If this figure is also equal then the fixture will be regarded as a tie.
- RC.4 - If, due to adverse weather conditions, no more than 4 overs and 5 balls of the second innings of the match are completed then the match should be replayed in full upon the agreed reserve date. If there is no reserve date scheduled and one cannot be mutually agreed upon then the match will be considered as ‘no result’.
- RC.5 - In the event of poor weather reducing play but NOT enough to prevent both sides bowling 5 complete overs, the result of the match shall be calculated via the Duckworth/Lewis method using one of the following apps:
PLAY-CRICKET SCORER APPTARAMS D/L CALCULATOR APPTeams are responsible for ensuring that they have at least one member of their team who has access to one of the above apps and is familiar with how to utilise it so as not to cause unnecessary delay to the match. Both apps contain links to instructions.

- RC.6 - If adverse weather conditions delay the start of the match but play can be commenced later on the same day then the length of the match should be reduced on a pro rata basis upon agreement between the two captains but should not be shorter than 5 overs per innings.
- RC.7 - In the event of a team not participating in a fixture when scheduled and all other conditions enable the match to be played, then that team will concede the match and any points on offer, or the right to progress in the knock-out stages, to their opponent. Where this occurs in any group stage match then the culpable team will also incur a 1 point deduction to their group stage points as well as a 1.00 reduction in their net run rate for that group stage.
Where there is a reserve date in place, the non-cancelling side MAY offer to play the match on the reserve date instead, but they are not compelled to and are at liberty to accept the points awarded for a cancellation.
If, however, the non-cancelling team DOES offer the opportunity to play on the reserve date and that second date is curtailed by weather then the points will be awarded on the basis of the initial cancellation. |
- RC.9 - If the winning side of a knock-out stage match cannot be decided by any of the methods above then a bowl-out will decide the matter.
- RC.9 - A bowl-out will consist of 5 members from each team being nominated to bowl one legal delivery each at an undefended wicket with the aim being to dislodge the bails of said wicket. The toss of a coin will decide which team goes first and the deliveries will be undertaken by each team alternately, much like a penalty shoot-out in football. If after 5 deliveries for each side the number of times the bails have been dislodged is equal then the process will continue under a sudden death process with the nominated bowlers coming from those who were not previously nominated to bowl. Only in the event of the score being equal after 11 deliveries each should a bowler be permitted to undertake a second attempt and then it should follow the order through the team that has been previously undertaken.
Note that an illegally bowled delivery in a bowl-out will be considered to have missed regardless of whether or not the bails were dislodged. Competing teams should ensure that an umpire is in place to adjudicate on no-balls.
