The Sussex Slam is a cricket competition, played across the county that provides an accessible, fast-paced, short-format version of the game.

Matches are:
- accessible;
- fast-paced;
- designed to maximise each player's participation;
- fitted in easily with work and/or personal commitments;
- held at convenient times;
- played, on average, once a fortnight;
- scheduled between start of May and end of August;
- structured within localised leagues, ensuring minimum travelling distance;
- played using innovative rules to give a match length of less than 2.5 hours;
- governed by player eligibility rules to ensure a common standard beneath the higher levels of the recreational game in our county.
